the FIRST of MANY

What I think is most stressful about this project is being able to have the hours needed since everything is going by so fast. I'm also stressing on the actual media portion itself because I'm not sure on what kind of project it should be.
For me, I'm most excited to do the project; though it’s stressful I know that I'm going to have a blast doing it. Also, I can’t wait to get more in depth with what my passion is, though I just started in dance, I know that my heart is 100% in it! I believe that this is going to be the most out there, yet, wonderful opportunity that high school has to offer. All in a nut shell I’m stoked about it all, the experience, the challenge, what I learn and how it will help me most as I prolong this passion.

Growing up I always wanted to be a dancer. I was a hula dance for many years, but not an actual dancer, like that you see in music videos, movies or the ones that get accepted to go to Julliard, but I never took any classes nor had any other type of dance experience other than hula up until a few months ago. I remember as a little girl I always bugged my mom to sign me up for dance class after I saw my first dance recital for a drill team but she never followed through. For years I tried to follow dance routines on my own, but felt awkward not knowing what I was really doing. Soon, there were shows on t.v about dancing such as America’s Best Dance Crew and So You Think You Can Dance that became a “must watch” for me and I could say played the biggest role in influence to my passion. Just so happened that I got the opportunity to sign up for my first dance class from doing a package for broadcast on Wendy Calio and the opening of her new studio Pas De Deux which opened my doors for my passion of dance. After my first few classes that I took from Pas De Deux my mom told me that she regretted not signing me up for dance when I first asked her years ago because she can tell just how much I enjoy it and put my heart into it.

I guess you can say that I am a hands on learner. I need to be active in learning and I do it best if I’m actually doing it myself actively rather than being stable. My learning experiences that have made the greatest impact on my learning is just life in general because life itself teaches many lessons that only we can decide to learn from it or not. Life is the most hands on experiment that anything has to offer.

I think you should know that when I truly find something were I can say my heart is happy, I give it my all, also that this year, I’m trying my hardest to not give up on anything, no matter what.
